Today, I am proud to share the story of our collaboration with a prominent food manufacturer from Thailand—a journey defined by efficiency, cultural connection, and technical transformation.
First Contact: Bridging Cultures and Goals
Following our initial discussions, I learned that the client’s family roots lie in Fujian; his grandfather’s generation relocated to Thailand, where the family now operates a well-established food processing plant in Bangkok. Although he resides in Thailand, he speaks fluent Chinese, which ensured that our subsequent communications proceeded without any linguistic barriers.
Through more in-depth conversations, I discovered that the majority of his factory’s production processes were still performed manually—a traditional method that resulted in low efficiency and made it difficult to guarantee product consistency. He had long sought to introduce an automated production line to boost both output capacity and product quality.
Prior to contacting us, he had already visited several factories in Jinan; however, he ultimately decided against placing an order with them—either because they could not reach an agreement on pricing or because he lacked confidence in the quality of their equipment. Upon hearing this, I formed a preliminary assessment: this client was determined to modernize his production in the near future, but he was highly sensitive to the cost-performance ratio. His need was urgent; he was simply waiting to find the right solution that balanced reliability with a modest budget.
The Visit: Precision Testing with Samples in Hand
The client’s objective was crystal clear. After confirming the basic technical specifications, he wasted no time on pleasantries; instead, he flew directly to our factory, bringing his own raw material samples with him. He intended to test two specific product categories: the drying of rolled oats and the production of puffed snacks in various shapes.
On the day of his visit, our engineering team was fully prepared. The moment the client entered the workshop, he handed his samples over to us. Acting on his specific requirements, our engineers adjusted the equipment parameters and began with the oat-drying test. Once the results were ready, the client carefully examined the color, moisture content, and texture of the finished product; he nodded in acknowledgment but refrained from offering immediate feedback.
Next, we proceeded to test the puffed snacks, switching between various molds—star, ring, and stick shapes. Each run proceeded smoothly, yielding products with well-defined forms and excellent puffing results. Our engineers performed admirably; while fine-tuning the machinery, they used a combination of simple Chinese and intuitive gestures to explain the underlying technical principles to the client. As the client watched his raw materials transform into trays of beautifully finished products, the expression on his face gradually shifted from one of skepticism to one of deep satisfaction.

Sealing the Deal: Efficiency and Trust
Immediately after the testing concluded, the client made a snap decision and placed an order on the spot. From our initial meeting to the signing of the contract, the entire process was so efficient that it actually took me by surprise. A month later, he returned personally to inspect the finished goods; upon seeing that the production line had been assembled to standard and was operating smoothly, he once again expressed his complete satisfaction.

Delivery and Installation: Service to the Last Mile
The machinery was shipped to Thailand exactly as scheduled. To fulfill our promise of comprehensive service, we dispatched an experienced engineer to accompany the equipment on-site. Once at the Bangkok facility, our engineer assisted the client with the precise positioning and wiring of the machinery. He then spent two days providing intensive, hands-on training to the workforce—teaching them how to operate the equipment, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot common minor issues.
Initially, the workers were somewhat unfamiliar with the new automated machinery; however, thanks to our engineer’s patient guidance, they quickly mastered the essentials. When the first batch of products successfully rolled off the production line, the client sent me a video specifically to share the moment. In the video, the workers could be seen smiling as they packed bags of finished snacks into shipping boxes, while the client looked directly into the camera and said in Chinese: “Thank you! The machine is excellent, and the products are perfect!”.
